8th Street Ride, Boise Idaho

We decided to head up to the 8th street trail head and ride up to Bogus Basin and back. We rode about 36 miles round trip. The weather was good but the conditions were dusty.

Did you go down "Humpty Bump" to Crooked Summit? It's been a few years since I rode that trail (it was pitch black night ride on my Raptor 660R) and it was really rutted bad. As deep as 3 - 4 feet wash outs in some places.

We headed over by the turn off to Crooked Summit and then kept left and came out at the Bogus Basin road. The last time I went down to Crooked Summit, it was pretty harsh and washed out it some spots.
